DynCorp International Appoints Curtis Schehr to Newly CreatedPost of Senior Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer andExecutive Counsel

FALLS CHURCH, Va. (May 27, 2009) – DynCorpInternational (NYSE:DCP) has created a new senior executiveposition of Senior Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer andExecutive Counsel. Mr. Curtis L. Schehr, currently Senior VicePresident, General Counsel and Secretary, has been appointed tothis position effective immediately. Mr. Schehr will report both tothe President and CEO of DynCorp International, William L.Ballhaus, and to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.

In this new executive capacity, Mr. Schehr will be responsiblefor developing and implementing an integrated governance, risk andcompliance framework across the company that captures ethics,compliance and regulatory areas, and effectively supports anaccountable and transparent business environment.

He will have management oversight for the company’s ethics andbusiness conduct program, related internal investigations, internalaudit, and trade compliance, which includes all export and importactivities. He will also have responsibility for other relatedregulatory and compliance matters.

The creation of this senior executive position underscores thecommitment and absolute priority DynCorp International places onits core values of ethics, service, and performance. Curtis Schehr, age 50, joined DynCorp International in October2006 as Senior Vice President and General Counsel. Before joiningDynCorp International, Curtis served from 1996 to 2006 as SeniorVice-President, General Counsel and Secretary of AnteonInternational Corporation.
