FALLS CHURCH, Va. (December 18, 2006) — TheUnited States Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), RedstoneArsenal, Ala., has awarded DynCorp International LLC a contract tomaintain and sustain foreign air- and ground-threat systems andtheir associated systems and equipment. DynCorp International LLCis the operating company of DynCorp International Inc.(NYSE:DCP).
The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract has a value of $99.3 millionfor one base year and four option years. Full performance on thecontract will begin on January 1, 2007.
Under the contract, DynCorp International will provideengineering, technical, test, training, operations, and maintenancesupport (ETTTOMS) services for foreign aviation equipment, foreignground-weapon systems, and associated domestic systems. Thecompany also will manage technical publications and provideadministrative and management support.
The primary work sites are Biggs Army Air Field and Site Monitorin the El Paso area, and at Fort Polk, La.; Hurlburt Field, Fla.;Tonopah, Nev.; Kirtland, N.M.; and Savannah, Ga.
TRAX International and Westar Aerospace and Defense Group aresubcontractors.
