MCLEAN, VA. – (November 6, 2017) – The U.S. Army Sustainment Command revised the original contract modification awarded to DynCorp International (DI) for mission support services at the U.S. Army National Training Center (NTC) in Fort Irwin, CA to include the Ops Group Heavy mission formerly performed under the Warfighter Focus contract. In support of the 916th Sustainment Brigade and OPS Group under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) IV contract, service performance began September 13, 2017 with a 12-month option period. The revised contract modification is valued at $2.5 million for services requiring 21 additional personnel.
“Expanding services at NTC to include the Ops Group Heavy mission is a testament to DI’s capabilities and excellent customer service. We are proud to serve in this capacity and look forward to continuing to do so,” said DI’s LOGCAP IV vice president, Rob Tillery.
Under this task order, DI provides support to ten Brigade Combat Team (BCT) annual rotations, with additional requirements to maintain the NTC Operations Group Observer/Controller tactical vehicles and a commercial vehicle fleet in support of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment. Support includes but is not limited to: fuel, munitions, ground and communications and electronic maintenance, multiclass supply, Common User Land Transportation (CULT), transient billeting, and operations. This contract revision adds additional heavy wheeled and track equipment in support of the Ops Group mission.
LOGCAP is a Department of Army regulatory program providing a broad range of contracted logistics and support services to augment U.S. and allied forces.
