MCLEAN, Va. – (October 5, 2016) – DynCorp International (DI) has been awarded the Warm Base Operations Support (BOS) Thumrait Air Base (TRAB) and Al Mussanah Air Base (AMAB) task order on the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP IV) for the U.S. Air Force.
“Out of 23 task orders offered under the AFCAP IV IDIQ, DI has won seven,” said Randy Bockenstedt, DynLogistics lead. “We are pleased to earn more work in the Middle East and continue our history of supporting the Air Force under AFCAP.”
On Warm Base Operations Support, DI will provide all Warm Base Operations Support such as maintenance and repair for Thumrait and Al Mussanah Air Bases in Oman. Personnel will be based at Thumrait, Oman.
“We now have a total of seven wins under AFCAP IV this year,” said Tim Gahr, AFCAP program manager. “We are excited to win this work and look forward to seeing more work awarded our way under AFCAP IV.”
Beginning September 23, 2016, the Warm Base Operations Support task order has a total contract value of $2.9 million for one base year.
