MCLEAN, Va. – (September 1, 2017) – Hurricane Harvey has done substantial damage as a Category 4 storm in southeast Texas. It brought with it winds of up to 130 miles per hour, overwhelming amounts of rain, and untold devastation to an area that includes some of Texas’ most populous cities. DynCorp International responded with a $10,000 donation to the American Red Cross to help support their efforts to provide shelter, meals, comfort kits and supplies, along with the mobilization of emergency response fleet vehicles.
“The Red Cross is continuing its largest hurricane relief effort in years, and with the help of donations like this from DynCorp International, we are ready to shelter, feed and provide hope to thousands of people,” said Keith Rhodes, CEO, American Red Cross North Texas.
