DynCorp International Joint Venture Awarded Global ContractValued at up to $900,000,000 to Provide Contingency Services toNaval Facilities Engineering Command

FALLS CHURCH, Va. (October 4, 2011) – DynCorpInternational (DI) today announced that Global Contingency ResponseServices (GRS), a joint venture between DI and Parsons, has beenselected by the U.S. Navy as one of four contractors to provideglobal contingency services to the Naval Facilities EngineeringCommand (NAVFAC).

The competitively-awarded, indefinite delivery/indefinitequantity contract valued at up to $900,000,000, was awarded onSeptember 22, 2011. Services will be provided at locationsworldwide over a maximum contract term of 60 months.

“This contract utilizes the broad spectrum of capabilities andexpertise that we offer across our business lines to enhancesupport for the U.S. government anywhere we’re needed,” said StevenSchorer, president of DynCorp International. “We are honored tocontinue to support the U.S. Navy in this important mission.”

DynCorp International and Parsons formed GRS to provide a fullrange of worldwide contingency and disaster-response services,including humanitarian assistance and interim or transitionalbase-operating support services.
