FALLS CHURCH, Va. – (September 17, 2012) -DynCorp International today announced it will be providing aircraftmaintenance support to NASA’s Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (SCA) forspace shuttle Endeavour’s final flight, taking place September18-20, 2012. The SCA, a uniquely configured Boeing 747-100aircraft, will transport Endeavour from Kennedy Space Center inOrlando, FL to its final home, the California Science Center in LosAngeles, CA.
DI will provide the maintenance team, that in cooperation withNASA and other support contractors, will travel with the aircraftfor the duration of the flight which will include stops in Houston,TX and El Paso, TX. DI mechanics will carefully inspect, serviceand perform any necessary maintenance to the SCA.

DynCorp International was awarded a contract with NASA toprovide aircraft maintenance and operational support services atvarious locations in April 2012.
