FALLS CHURCH, Va. (November 5, 2008) – The U.S.Department of Defense has awarded DynCorp International (NYSE:DCP)a $99 million contract to support and assist the Multi-NationalSecurity Transition Command-Iraq (MNSTC-I). DynCorp Internationalwill provide up to 128 Senior Level positions for Mentors andAdvisors.
MNSTC-I is responsible for providing advisors and mentors to theIraqi Ministries of Defense and Interior. These Ministries controlthe Iraqi military and police forces. DynCorp International willassist MNSTC-I to transition security responsibilities fromMulti-National Forces to the Iraqi government.
The basic indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contractwas awarded November 1, 2008, and includes a base period plus oneoption year. The total potential revenue is $99 million.
