FALLS CHURCH, Va. (Jan. 16, 2007) – DynCorpInternational Inc. (NYSE:DCP) today named Mark Ronald, formerpresident and CEO of BAE Systems Inc., to its board ofdirectors. Until his retirement at the end of 2006, Mr.Ronald was COO of BAE Systems plc as well as president and CEO ofBAE Systems Inc., the company’s wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary.

Mr. Ronald remains a member of the board of directors of BAESystems Inc., and serves on the boards of directors of Cobham plcand Alliant Tech Systems (ATK). He was awarded the title ofHonorary Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the BritishEmpire (CBE) in recognition of his services to promote closertransatlantic cooperation in the U.S. and U.K. defense industries.In 2005, he was honored by the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundationwith the Semper Fidelis Award for his support of the members of theU.S. Armed Forces and their families.
Before joining BAE Systems, Mr. Ronald was president, chiefoperating officer, and a member of the board of directors of AELIndustries in Lansdale, Pa., where he was responsible foroverseeing the design and manufacture of complex electronic systemsand subsystems for military, aerospace, and telecommunications. Hepreviously spent ten years with Litton Industries, Amecon Divisionin College Park, Md., rising to the position of vicepresident.
Mr. Ronald is a graduate of Bucknell University, where he receiveda Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in electricalengineering. He received his Master of Science in electricalengineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York. He hasreceived the Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award from bothinstitutions.
Mr. Ronald replaces Marc Grossman, who resigned effectivetoday. DynCorp International has engaged the Cohen Group, ofwhich Mr. Grossman is a vice-chairman, as a consultant.
