Six DynCorp International team members working on the U.S. Department of State’s (DoS) Afghanistan Civilian Advisory Support (ACAS) program were tragically killed in an attack in Kabul, Afghanistan on July 22; several others were injured. Under the Department’s Civilian Police (CIVPOL) contract with DoS’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), ACAS assists the U.S. State Department to meet the goals of increasing Afghanistan’s overall capability to strengthen rule of law and combat the illicit drug trade. The Company also provides support services for advisors, mentors and trainers in the areas of rule of law and counternarcotics, including life and mission support.
