Major General (USA Ret.) James R. Myles Joins DynCorp International

FALLS CHURCH, Va. (February 10, 2011) - DynCorp International (DI) today announced that Major General (USA Ret.) James R. Myles has joined the company as Vice President of Aviation Operations, within the company's Aviation business area. He is based in Huntsville, Ala.

MG Myles has extensive experience in aviation maintenance, life-cycle management, and the acquisition and contracting process. He retired after three years as commanding general of the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) at Redstone Arsenal. His 36 year career included numerous command billets such as the Army Test and Evaluation Command, aviation brigade and battalion command, and multiple assignments in the 160th special Operations Aviation Regiment.

DI's aviation business is led by Cathie Gridley, Vice President of Aviation, who joined DynCorp International in June 2010 and will also be based in Huntsville. Prior to joining DI, Gridley was president of customer services at GE Aviation Systems, managing the global aftermarket and end-user customer base of more than 1,400 customers in 140 countries.  Previously, she held positions with Smiths Aerospace, Goodrich, TRW, and Lucas Aerospace leading various services divisions, along with a number of controllership positions outside the aviation industry.
