Anthony Zinni Named Executive Vice President of DynCorpInternational

FALLS CHURCH, Va. (July 18, 2007) - DynCorpInternational (NYSE:DCP) has named Gen. Anthony C. Zinni(USMC-Ret.) to the position of executive vice president, effectiveJuly 16.  As executive vice president, Mr. Zinni will be amember of the Office of the Chief Executive, along with Presidentand CEO Herbert J. Lanese.  Gen. Zinni’s primaryresponsibilities will be for directing the company’s energies inbusiness development, business strategy, communications, andproduct branding.

Gen. Zinni retired from the U.S. Marine Corps in September 2000after 39 years of service.  During his military career, heserved as the Commanding General of the First Marine ExpeditionaryForce from 1994 to 1996, and as Commander-in-Chief of the U.S.Central Command from 1997 to 2000.  In November 2001, he wasappointed senior adviser and U.S. envoy to the Middle East bySecretary of State Colin Powell.

Gen. Zinni has served on the Advisory Board of Veritas Capital andthe board of directors of DynCorp International, of which VeritasCapital is the majority shareholder, as well as boards of otherprivate companies.  He has resigned from DynCorpInternational’s board of directors to assume the position ofexecutive vice president.
