DynCorp International has appointed Gregory V. Shrader to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer.
As Senior VP and CIO, Mr. Shrader’s responsibilities include all IT planning, development, and application for DI worldwide, including the internal enterprise and operational systems DI employs on contracts. He is also responsible for developing IT strategy and solutions for new business development opportunities.
Mr. Shrader joined the DI organization in 1985 as one of the three members of the first IT department. He played a major role in the company’s first re-systemization effort, in the early 1990s, and most recently was vice-president of the company’s IT division and deputy to the CIO.
Mr. Shrader is from Amarillo, Texas, and graduated from University of Texas at Arlington in 1986 with a BAA in Information Technology. Shortly thereafter, he began working with what was then Dynalectron in Fort Worth.
