CHURCH, Va. – June 2, 2008 – The U.S. Air Force has awarded DynCorp
International (NYSE:DCP) a contract to manage U.S. Air Force War
Reserve Materiel (WRM) assets pre-positioned in strategic sites in the
Persian Gulf. Under the contract DynCorp International will manage
military resources and materials, including expeditionary airfield
resources, fuel support equipment, aerospace ground equipment,
munitions, medical equipment, vehicles, rations and associated spares
and other consumables. DynCorp International will have responsibility
for receipt, inventory, accountability, maintenance, repair, periodic
inspection, security, shipping and other aspects of supporting and
managing these resources.

The contract,
which contains firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-award-fee elements, has a
base year award of $47.8 million and a total potential value of $418.5
million if all option years are exercised. DynCorp International was
the incumbent, and has been managing the U.S. Air Force WRM program
since 2000.
