Contract Field Teams (CFT) is a U.S. Air Force ID/IQ contract vehicle, open to any military branch. It provides temporary and long-term support for aircraft technical service. DI is the only company to have held the CFT contract continuously since its inception in 1951 – one of the longest continuous incumbencies in government contracting. Our field staff provide maintenance, modification, repair, and logistics support for aircraft, weapons systems, and ground support equipment worldwide. We provide personnel on a quick-reaction, short- or long-duration basis to support all branches of the U.S. military domestically and abroad, in combat operations, peacekeeping, and disaster relief missions, and we have supported every major wartime contingency since Korea.
Administered by the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center at Tinker Air Force Base, all branches of the military as well as some civilian agencies are eligible to use the contract. The latest iteration was awarded in July 2008 and officially began in October 2008. DI is one of 7 large contractors that must compete for each task order to provide aviation services.
The CFT mission includes modification and organizational, intermediate, and limited depot-level maintenance and major overhaul of airframes, engines, transmissions, avionics, radio, electrical, and hydraulic components on all types of military aircraft and equipment. We also provide management, logistics support, procurement, HR, security, training, and automated data-processing at sites worldwide. Operations support includes production control and overhaul and rebuilding of parts, subassemblies, assemblies, and end items, as well as supply and transportation.
DI’s CFT program is ISO 9001:2000 registered. We provide exceptional support and we have received an impressive list of awards and commendations under this contract. Our Air Force TO at this time:
