The U.S. Air Force has awarded DynCorp International two new task orders under the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program III (AFCAP).
- Air Traffic Management Services at Forward Operating Base (FOB) Fenty. As part of this task order, DI will provide air traffic support services to include management of the air traffic control tower, airfield and aircraft maintenance at FOB Fenty in Afghanistan. The competitively-awarded task order has a one-year period of performance with a total contract value of $1.6 million.
- Fire Emergency Services (FES) Equipment Services. DI has been selected to provide inspection, testing, maintenance, repair and certification of FES equipment at five U.S. Air Force bases throughout Central and Southwest Asia. This task order has a one-year base period and 77-day option period, with a total potential value of $1.6 million.
“We are honored that the U.S. Air Force has selected DI to support a total of five AFCAP task orders awarded this year,” said Randy Bockenstedt, senior vice president, DynLogistics.
AFCAP is a 10-year indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract to provide worldwide base-operating support and temporary construction capabilities for U.S. government entities on an as-needed basis.
