DynCorp International has been chosen as one of 20 prime contractors that will bid for task orders under the Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) Strategic Service Solutions Equipment Related Services Contract. The U.S. Army Contracting Command is DI’s customer on the potential $1.1 billion indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle.
“DI has supported U.S. Army equipment for several decades,” said Randy Bockenstedt, DynCorp International senior vice president, DynLogistics. “We look forward to continuing to provide these services and strengthening our relationship with this customer.”
DI will bid on task orders to provide support services related to maintenance, repair and overhaul, equipment modification, installation of equipment and technical representative services to keep machines, systems and vehicles functioning or in working order. Work under this contract has an eight-year period of performance.
DI Supports TACOM
DI was also awarded a contract in May 2013 to provide qualified personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Total Package Fielding (TPF) to TACOM out of Dearborn, Michigan. The TPF process is to field, train and support vehicles to using units across the U.S. and overseas.
