The Naval Air Systems Command recently awarded DynCorp International a contract to provide aircraft maintenance and logistics support to the Chief of Naval Air Training. The contract has a total potential value of $443.3 million. DI’s team members will perform this work at Naval Air Station (NAS) Corpus Christi in Texas, NAS Whiting Field and NAS Pensacola in Florida, and elsewhere within the U.S.
DynAviation senior vice president James Myles commented that DI has been a trusted partner to the U.S. Navy for more than 20 years. DI plans to build upon that tradition with this new contract. “We look forward to continuing to serve our Navy customers and supporting the vital mission of the chief of Naval Air Training,” said Myles.
DI team members will support T-34, T-44 and T-6 aircraft, providing organizational, intermediate, depot-level maintenance and logistics services.
