McLean, VA – (November 6, 2019) – On September 25, the U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Michigan, awarded DynCorp International (DI) a $10.0 million cost-plus-fixed-fee Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract to provide Maintenance, Logistics, and On-the-Job Training for the Peshmerga Military on multiple types of vehicles, to include the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), the Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP), and the Medium Tactical Vehicle (MTV). This is a knowledge transfer program designed to increase the Peshmerga Maintenance Personnel’s ability to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs. DI’s maintenance and logistics personnel will ensure the Peshmerga Military’s vehicles are fully mission capable and that mechanics are trained.
“This is a great win for DynCorp International,” said Randy Bockenstedt, president of DynLogistics. “We spent three years in Taji, Iraq improving the readiness of the Iraqi Army’s vehicles and proficiency of the Iraqi Army Mechanics. Now we have the opportunity to extend that capability to the Government of Iraq’s Peshmerga Military. Our expert mechanics and FSRs work closely with our partners to ensure their vehicle fleet is operational and ready for any contingency.”
Work will be performed in Erbil, Iraq.
