FALLS CHURCH, Va. (August 17, 2011) – DynCorpInternational (DI) today announced that it has won a contract withthe United States Air Force to provide aircraft maintenance,transient alert, munitions, base supply and fuels at the Joint BaseAndrews-Naval Air Facility Washington.
“This is a great win for us on an incredibly important program,”said Catherine Gridley, vice president of Aviation at DI. “DI wasthe first contractor awarded this program ten years ago and it is atestament to the dedication and quality of our personnel that theAir Force again selected our team to maintain and support theaircraft that transport our nation’s leaders.”
The competitively-awarded, firm-fixed-price contract has a baseyear valued at $54.4 million, with a total contract value of $400.9million if all six option years are exercised. This contract is are-compete for DI’s Joint Base Andrews work and will provideservices for the Very Important Person Special Air Mission(VIPSAM).
DynCorp International will provide services including aircraftmaintenance, transient alert, munitions, base supply and fuels insupport of aircraft assigned to the 11th Wing and 89th Wing atJoint Base Andrews-Naval Air Facility Washington (JBA-NAFW).Included in the services scope are aircraft maintenance, servicingand fueling for all U.S. and foreign transient aircraft.
