McLean, VA – (June 29, 2020) – The Naval Air Systems Command has awarded DynCorp International (DI) an $8.8 million modification to a previously awarded contract to provide logistics support services and material for the maintenance of TH-57 aircraft. This modification increases the flight hour capacity on the second base year of the TH-57 contract by 1,100 flight hours per month, increasing the total flight hours from 6,500 to 7,600 hours per month. Funds will be obligated on individual task orders as they are issued. The contract began December 1, 2018 and is expected to be complete by May 2023.
On this contract, DI provides organizational (O-level), intermediate (I-level), and depot level (D-level) maintenance for the U.S. Navy TH-57 helicopters. The O- and I- level maintenance work is performed at Naval Air Station Whiting Field in Florida, and D-level maintenance work is performed at DI’s Andalusia, Alabama facility.
“We are happy to continue our support of the U.S. Navy’s mission to provide fully trained and qualified helicopter pilots for the fleet,” said Clarence Xander, TH-57 program manager.
