DynCorp International Awarded Police Training Work in Haiti andLiberia

FALLS CHURCH, Va. (March 31, 2008) – DynCorpInternational (NYSE:DCP) is expanding its work under its CivilianPolice (CIVPOL) contract with the U.S. State Department to includenew training missions in Haiti and Liberia. The expanded work has avalue of more than $7 million.

Under the Haiti Stabilization Initiative task order, DynCorpInternational will provide training support for up to 444 HaitianNational Police. The task order includes DynCorp Internationalprocurement of the Haitian police force’s basic and specializednon-lethal equipment, vehicles and communications equipment. Thevalue of this work is $3 million. DynCorp International has alsobeen tasked to refurbish the main police station in Cite Soleil.This station will function as the primary location for this newspecialized unit.  The refurbishment work will be more than$600,000.

In Liberia DynCorp International will also train and equip up to500 Liberian National Police members who will establish anEmergency Response Unit with the United Nations Police and theUnited Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL). To support the unit,DynCorp International will also undertake new building constructionand the renovation of existing LNP facilities.  The value ofthis work is $3.5 million.

The award in Liberia follows DynCorp International’s successfulwork of training a professional army for the Ministry of NationalDefense in Liberia under its Security Sector Reform program withthe State Department.
