McLean, VA. – (March 25, 2019) – On October 18, 2018, the U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, awarded DynCorp International (DI) an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract that will allow DI to compete for each order of the $37.4 billion Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3) contract. The RS3 mission provides knowledge-based professional engineering support services for Federal and State Government Agencies and Organizations with command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) requirements. The ordering period consists of a base period with one five year option period extending until 2027.
The RS3 contact consolidates several large Army contracts, including the Rapid Response – Third Generation (R2-3G) and Strategic Services Sourcing (S3) contracts.
“This is an important win for DI,” said Randy Bockenstedt, DynLogistics president. “The breadth of the work scope of the RS3 contract gives access to our core competencies to the Army and other customers in the DoD market space.”
“I am proud to know that the Army considers DynCorp International a trusted partner and I look forward to supporting our nation’s Army through our services and capabilities on future RS3 task orders,” said Eric Miles, capture manager.
Services available under the contract include many of DI’s DynLogistics and DynAviation core competencies such as field support, training, logistics and engineering. DI has provided field support, logistics and other professional services to the U.S. Government for many decades. Our highly qualified personnel are ready to support customers anywhere in the world.
