McLean, VA – (March 25, 2019) – DynCorp International has donated $10,000 to the Air Force Aid Society to assist with emergency support following the extreme flooding this month at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska. The Aid Society provides assistance to displaced airmen and families.
“We are honored to offer assistance to the members of the Air Force, the Joint Team, and the families of those so deeply impacted by the devastating flooding at Offutt Air Force Base,” said chief executive officer, George Krivo. “We look forward to a rapid return to normal operations.”
Some areas of the base were covered by at least eight feet of water during the peak of the flood. Base hangars, fuel storage and runway were all impacted by the water. Though flooding has receded, it will be months before everything is back up and running.
