McLean, VA – (January 23, 2019) – DynCorp International (DI) has donated $10,000 to the Coast Guard Foundation to help support the men and women of the United States Coast Guard and their families during the government shutdown. This is the first time in our nation’s history that service members in a U.S. Armed Force have not been paid during a lapse in appropriations.
“We here at DynCorp International have made this important donation to support the men and women of the Coast Guard who continue to serve without pay and put their lives at risk for our nation,” said chief executive officer, George Krivo.
The Coast Guard Foundation is converting funds received to gift cards and giving them to Coast Guard men, women and families in need.
“I am proud to be part of a company that understands the needs of young men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard who serve and protect our nation,” said Jeff Berry, program manager for Coast Guard support activities. “As a former ‘Coastie,’ I am more than proud of those men and women giving a whole new meaning to Semper Paratus, ‘Always Ready.’”
