FALLS CHURCH, Va. – DynCorp International LLC (DI) has been selected to assist the NATO Training Mission – Afghanistan/Combined Security Transition Command – Afghanistan (NTM-A/CSTC-A) by providing specialized training and mentoring services for the Afghanistan Ministry of Interior (MoI) and Afghan National Police (ANP).
Under the competitively-awarded contract with the U.S. Army, in addition to mentoring and training services, DI will provide logistics and life support components for 14 training facilities in Afghanistan. The two year base period has an estimated value of $718.1 million, with a preceding 120-day phase-in period to full performance. The total potential contract value is estimated to be $1.04 billion, if a one year option period is exercised.
The contract was awarded on December 20, 2010, and the company received the notice to proceed on December 30, 2010.
