FALLS CHURCH, Va. (Mar. 13, 2007) – DynCorpInternational has won the Federal Aviation Administration’s DiamondCertificate of Excellence for the fifth consecutive year.
The award recognizes DI for providing outstanding maintenance foraircraft used by America’s leaders at Andrews Air Force Base inMaryland.
The FAA’s Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Award is a programbased entirely on the commitment made by the maintenancetechnicians to further their technical knowledge and understandingby attending advanced training courses. There are five levels ofthe award, with the diamond being the highest.
The award acknowledges that at least 50 percent of DI’s AMTsadvanced their skills through the company’s sponsored trainingprogram.
In addition to the overall company award, 175 DI employees weregiven AMT awards based on their training. There are five levels ofthe award, with the diamond being the highest.
Len Campbell, a DI Andrews Support Division Manager, accepted theaward on behalf of the company.
