GERMANTOWN, Md.; (January 5, 2021) – DynCorp International (DI) has been certified by the International Stability Operations Association (ISOA)’s Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) program, established to promote the inclusion of women in conflict prevention, resolution and post-conflict stabilization efforts. Participants in the program commit themselves to the Women, Peace, and Security Act of 2017 and attend informational and training sessions.
“At DI, we have strong women leaders that are critical to our programs across the world,” said John Gastright, senior vice president for government relations and ISOA board member. “We are honored to recognize their contributions through this important initiative.”
“[DI’s] leadership and engagement of women in fragile environments promotes more prosperous societies and is critical to the advancement of peace and stability around the world,” said Michelle Quinn, ISOA Women, Peace, and Security chairwoman. “Our nation’s stabilization imperatives will benefit from the insights you have gained through your participation in this program – thank you for your leadership and commitment to these critical issues!”
