McLean, VA – (April 1, 2020) – The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Rock Island issued a $27 million contract modification under DynCorp International’s (DI) Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP IV). DI will provide Life Support Areas for U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Fort Benning, Georgia in support of COVID-19 Holdover and Quarantine operations. DI’s support ensures Army readiness and the defense of the nation by creating base camps that allow continuous training of new soldiers and secure transfer to other training or mission installments. DI-provided services include temporary camps complete with power, boxed meals, showers, laundry operations, and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Wi-Fi capabilities.
The LOGCAP IV team is performing similar services at Fort Lee, Virginia under an additional contract modification valued at $8.9 million. While the Army works on Courses of Action to identify all ways to protect the force, DI is in the planning stages for Base Life Support services at Fort Stewart, Georgia; Fort Gordon, Georgia and Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.
“It is a privilege to be a part of the U.S. Army’s efforts to respond to this national health emergency and to provide clean, comfortable environments for soldiers,” said Rob Tillery, DI’s LOGCAP IV senior vice president of Operations.
LOGCAP is a Department of Army regulatory program providing a broad range of contracted logistics and support services to augment U.S. and allied forces.
