FALLS CHURCH, Va. (January 10, 2011) – The U.S.Air Force has awarded DynCorp International (DI) a task order underthe Contract Field Teams (CFT) contract for aviation maintenancesupporting the U.S. Army at Ft. Campbell, Ky.
The task order has one base and one option year, and is set tobegin on January 29, 2011. The total potential revenue is $105million, if both option years are exercised.
Under the task order, DI will provide maintenance, modification,RESET and supply support for aircraft assigned to the 101stAirborne Division and other units returning from Southwest Asia, asassigned.
“We are honored to support the 101st and others at Ft.Campbell,” said Cathie Gridley, DI’s vice president of AviationMaintenance Services. “We have held the CFT contract continuouslysince its inception in 1951 and this important work at Ft. Campbellis at the heart of our company’s heritage.”
DI is one of seven large contractors that compete for taskorders to provide aviation services under the CFT contract. DI is the only company to have held the CFT contract continuouslysince 1951.
