Supporting the Most Complex Logistical Missions in the World

Often described as one of the most complex and challenging logistics support operations in history, the Logistics and Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) contract has provided shelter, food and comfort to hundreds of thousands of coalition troops across Afghanistan. DynCorp International is one of three companies providing that extraordinary support.

DI currently provides full service and turnkey logistics to U.S. and allied forces during combat, peacekeeping, humanitarian and training operations in Afghanistan, Kuwait and Oman. By leveraging worldwide expertise in contingency operations and an extensive global network, high-performing teams have quickly organized and deployed a workforce of more than 20,000 people to more than 70 sites throughout the Middle East on five task orders.

Combat environments present unique challenges, and the DynCorp International team consistently delivers the highest level of support to allied forces to include:

  • Supply operations, such as the delivery of food, water, fuel, spare parts, and other items
  • Field operations, such as dining and laundry facilities, housing, sanitation, waste management, postal services, and Morale, Welfare and Recreation activities
  • Other operations, including engineering and construction, support to communication networks, transportation and cargo services, and facilities maintenance and repair.

To date, the customer has benefitted from more than $100 million in cost savings and cost avoidance achieved through program-wide continuous improvements.

The DI team provides necessary support functions to the customer, allowing military units to focus on their mission.
